About

I’m a Ventura-based mindfulness and meditation teacher. Having grown up here and raised my family here, this place has shaped my life, and my teaching is grounded in a love for this community.

A dedicated mindfulness and meditation practice has been an important part of my life for over 15 years. What began as personal support during a pivotal transition grew into a steady, life-long practice that informs how I meet daily life with greater presence, care, and connection.

With a strong background in science, I bring an evidence-informed perspective to contemplative practice. I hold a BS in Cellular and Developmental Biology from UCSB and a MS in Regulatory Science from USC, and spent over 20 years working in the biotech industry focused on improving human health.
I am currently completing my teacher training through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP), a 2-year professional training program founded by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. The MMTCP is a rigorous, internationally recognized program that integrates mindfulness meditation, Buddhist psychology, ethics, trauma sensitivity, and contemporary neuroscience. The training emphasizes embodied practice, inquiry, and compassionate teaching in service of individual and community well-being.

My approach to teaching is shaped by both contemporary scientific research and ancient contemplative wisdom, particularly Buddhist mindfulness traditions. While I do not identify with a single spiritual lineage, I hold deep respect for all sincere paths that cultivate compassion, insight, and inner freedom. My teaching style is thoughtful, accessible, and grounded in lived experience.
