Scientific Articles

Over the past several decades, scientific interest in mindfulness and meditation has grown substantially. A large and expanding body of research now examines their effects on mental health, emotional regulation, stress, and overall well-being. Studies include randomized controlled trials, longitudinal research, and systematic reviews, with particularly strong evidence supporting mindfulness-based programs such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). While early research focused primarily on short-term outcomes, more recent studies explore sustained effects, individual differences, and underlying mechanisms, including attention regulation, emotion processing, and neuroplasticity. Overall, the scientific literature suggests that mindfulness and meditation are associated with meaningful psychological benefits, while continuing to evolve in rigor, scope, and methodological sophistication. The articles below represent a selection of the scientific literature, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
